Durable Protection for Broken or Damaged Teeth

Porcelain crowns (or caps) are special coverings fitted over teeth that have suffered damage that fillings cannot fix. They look and function like your normal teeth, matching their shape, size, and color. They are a highly durable dental restoration option that will last you for many years.

Call Claude Daniel, DDS for a consultation today! We can determine the right crown or cap for your damaged teeth to give you a long-lasting and natural-looking smile. We've been your trusted name in restorative dental care for over 30 years, providing individualized care in a comfortable, relaxing setting.

Reasons to Get a Crown or Cap for Your Teeth

  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Decayed teeth
  • Fractured fillings
  • Large fillings
  • Teeth that have had a root canal
  • Cosmetic enhancement

What Does the Procedure Involve?

During your first visit, we'll take several impressions of your teeth to create your custom crown. A temporary crown will be placed on your tooth for approximately two weeks until your permanent crown has been made. We will remove any decay from your tooth and shape the surface to properly fit your crown.

During your second visit, we will remove the temporary crown. Your tooth will be cleaned and the new crown will be placed. We will check that the spacing and bite are accurate. You'll be given care instructions and encouraged to have regular dental visits to maintain your oral health as well as your new crown.
